At Encore Strings Birmingham, we’ve had the honor of performing at many stunning weddings. Patti and Chad Hagwood’s wedding remains one of our most cherished memories. The Ceremony
Patti and Chad’s wedding ceremony at one of Birmingham’s finest venues – The Club – was a perfect blend of elegance and intimacy, set against a backdrop of lavish white florals. Over 10,000 hydrangeas and phalaenopsis orchids, along with more than 15,000 white roses and peonies, adorned the venue. The result? A romantic, dreamlike atmosphere that left guests speechless.
Encore Strings Birmingham had the distinct pleasure of performing as a string quartet during the ceremony. We collaborated with a talented pianist and vocalist to create a deeply moving musical experience.
Patti and Chad hand-selected songs that held special meaning for them. From the poignant strains of “When I Say I Do” by Matthew West to the soaring harmonies of “The Long Run” by The Eagles, each note underscored the emotion of their heartfelt vows and the joyous moment they became husband and wife.

Dinner was a tantalizing multi-course affair, served in an opulent setting that reflected Patti and Chad’s refined taste. Every detail, from the décor to the cuisine, spoke of their thoughtfulness and appreciation for their guests.

As the clock struck midnight, the festivities came to a fitting close with a romantic white rose petal sendoff. Guests lined the sparkler-lit street to cheer on Patti and Chad as they drove away in their beloved Chrysler LeBaron—a car that has been a part of their story since its earliest days.
