Encore Strings Summer Academy – an exceptional camp for ages 7–18 with a focus on chamber music – offers group classes, professional mentorship, and a culminating concert.
Jingle Jam
Jingle Jam is a festive day of music, where students rehearse beloved holiday classics with professional musicians and share the joy of the season in a meaningful performance.

Encore Strings Summer Academy offers two inspiring summer programs designed to meet young string players where they are in their musical journey.
At Prelude Strings Camp, beginning students can build a strong foundation and experience the joy of playing with others.
At Chamber Strings Camp, intermediate and advanced students can immerse themselves in the artistry of chamber music through collaborative performance, individual growth, and professional mentorship.
Both camps nurture musical skills, confidence, and a lasting passion for music in an encouraging and engaging environment.

Jingle Jam

Experience the joy of the season with Jingle Jam, a festive and enriching opportunity for young string musicians.
Students will rehearse timeless holiday classics alongside the members of Encore Strings Birmingham. The day culminates with an afternoon performance for the residents of a local retirement community, spreading cheer through the universal language of music.

This experience is designed for string students reading at the level of a Bach Minuet and above (ages 7+).
