Summer Academy

We are excited to return to Vestavia Hills Baptist Church with the 2024 Encore Strings Summer Academy! Camp will be held June 17-21, 2024, 9am-12pm daily, with tuition set at $350 for the week. As space is limited, the camp will fill upon capacity. Register for camp HERE .

The Encore Strings Summer Academy is a chamber music camp for students ages 7-18. Violin group classes, cello choir, studio classes, and music theory/history are offered in addition to chamber ensembles. Ensembles will be formed based on student’s current solo repertoire. Daily performances and chamber coachings are given by the Encore String Quartet. Students participate in a final concert for family and friends at the end of the week. Younger students must be able to play Bach Minuets from Suzuki Book 1 and sight read. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
